Hello guys!
This is my new project from a Coffee shop in Medan - Indonesia, named Doubleshot Coffee Shop. FYI, This coffee shop is run by a husband and wife. So, this is the screenshot of the final design.

At the first time, when the client came to me. the first thing they told me that they want a simple yet modern logo. They suggested me to use a cup symbol and also suggested me to use the letters of D and S which are the initials of their coffee shop names : DoubleShot. So I started to sketch some logos which are the combination of the cup symbol and the letters of S and D. You can see them below. The logo that I chose to begin this project.

but when I was doing this on my computer, the client changed his mind and asked me to change the logo concept by only entering the letters d and s without the cup symbol, the reason is because the cup symbol is too commonly used by other coffee shops. then I repeated the agreed sketch, and agreed on a logo. here is the sketch. The logo signed with red circle is the logo that I chose to begin this project

Then I developed this sketch into a better shape.

Then I chose the second shape, and made it better again.

and in the last project my client want to change the view of logo from the landscape to potrait, and they ask my help too for the text of name shop and their slogan. and this the result.

For the final touch, I was back to the icon and trying to make the icon to be stunning. You can see it below. This icon can stand on both light and dark background

I will always transform my new project into a case study so that i can learn about it.
